August 8 @ 9:30 am - 3:30 pm
example of sashiko boro project for free brisbane workshop

WORKSHOP SOLD OUT

Join Sue Howie for a social stitch-along at the Sashiko Australia Studio in Brisbane, August 8th at 9.30AM—a most pleasant way to spend some ‘me time’ for a day, creating beautiful sashiko or boro textiles.

Bring your own sashiko or boro project, sashiko kit, or purchase a small kit for the session. This can be a sashiko or boro project that you’re currently working on or have not yet started, such as a kit, work in progress, or unfinished object—you may like to bring a textile item to mend or embellish.

This is an easygoing social stitching event, with Sue on hand to assist you throughout the day and offer guidance on how to get the best outcome for your project. Sue will mentor and inspire you to transform your project or kit into a beautiful piece of textile art that you can be proud of.

Tea and coffee will be provided, with guests encouraged to bring a small plate of nibbles to share.

Numbers are strictly limited for this sashiko and boro workshop, so be sure to secure your place.
